Our modern-day lifestyle has changed our posture, and not necessarily for the better. There is an increased incidence of back pain, often originating in the pelvic area. Fit Back Therapy aims to correct pelvic problems, thus in turn training the spine in order to improve posture. The success of Fit Back Therapy is defined in three steps.

STEP #1

We determine the current state by means of the body scan. Following the body scan, an introduction to the Fit Back Plate takes place. The Fit Back Plate is the platform used to create an individual training plan. Specialized exercises are shown on the Fit Back Plate for strengthening the back muscles. You can find a detailed description of these exercises including images on the pages that follow.

STEP #2

The results of the scan will reveal any particular areas of concern, which can then be addressed via special manual techniques, keeping in mind the position of pelvis, spine, axes of the leg and the feet. Further muscle tests may indicate muscle weaknesses that can also be worked on.

Techniques are used that incorporate methods from osteopathy, Spiraldynamik, manual therapy, Marnitz Therapy, Functional Myodiagnostics and more. In addition, shock wave therapy has shown to be successful in improving mobilization of the spine.

STEP #3

A further training session takes place together with a final body scan to monitor progress. In the final step, both body scans are compared and a plan with continuing daily exercises is created.
