For a long time forgotten, the Camelina plant has now been rediscovered. Already in celtic times the aromatic cruciferous plant was an important oil supplier: fine in the taste and long lasting. The Camelina plant with its tender stalks and tiny seeds grows today in controlled organic mixed cultivation in Styria, Burgenland, Upper and Lower Austria and Carinthia.
